Healthy ecosystems benefit human health ~ Otonabee Conservation Annual Meeting

The 59th Annual Meeting of the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority will feature a special presentation from EcoHealth Ontario highlighting the growing evidence that we gain specific physical and mental health benefits from living in clean, healthy ecosystems and from having access to natural areas and biodiversity.

The agenda for the evening will also include the election of the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for 2018, and the presentation of Environmental Excellence Awards to community groups and individuals who have actively demonstrated a commitment to a healthy watershed.

The Annual Meeting is being held Thursday, January 18th at 7:00 p.m. at the Fire Department Administration Centre located at 21 Third Street in Keene. Members of the watershed community are welcome to attend.
