It’s our way of saying thank you and sharing their success with the watershed community, “said Andy Mitchell, Chair of Otonabee Conservation.

Receiving an Environmental Excellence Award was:

  • Conservationist: Meaghan Thompson and Olivia Handley
  • Stewardship: Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre – accepting was Dr. Sue Carstairs
  • Business: Winslow Gerolamy Motors Limited – accepting was Andrew Winslow

Mitchell remarked on the generous support and involvement of many individuals, community organizations and businesses that make conservation part of their contribution to a healthy natural environment where communities thrive.
