Camping

Otonabee Conservation operates two public campgrounds in the Peterborough area — less than two hours away from the GTA! We’re open each year from mid-May through to Thanksgiving (May 11-October 8, 2018).

Beavermead Campground offers 95 sites, most with electrical and water hook-ups, as well as a comfort station, and dumping station. We can easily accommodate your RV, trailer, or tent. Located on Little Lake right in the City of Peterborough, you’ll be within easy reach of local tourist attractions, and good food and shopping. [reservation button at right]

The Warsaw Caves Conservation Area and Campground has 52 un-serviced sites in a beautiful wooded setting 25 minutes outside of Peterbrough. Come spend the weekend or bring your family for an extended stay through the week and take in everything the park has to offer. This campground has an accessible comfort station that includes washrooms, showers, laundry room, and a dish wash station. [reservation button at right]

Both parks offer group camping for Scouts and Guides, Cadets, school groups, and other social or community organizations. We also make group sites available to other types of large groups.
