The Jackson Creek Trail has a new bridge! It arrived yesterday – November 27, 2018. Installation of the new bridge went very smoothly.
The four kilometer recreational trail, owned and maintained by Otonabee Conservation, has four bridges along its length that span Jackson Creek. The most westerly bridge – #2017 – was replaced due to failing condition.
Final work is being completed on the trail and until further notice the area remains a construction site.
Otonabee Conservation expects to re-open the trail to pedestrian traffic at the end of the month.
