Otonabee Conservation operates two public campgrounds in the Peterborough area — less than two hours away from the GTA! We’re open each year from mid-May through to September.
Starting on March 2, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. you will be able to book your campsite online!
Search for your favourite campsite on our online maps, reserve for your planned vacation dates, and conveniently pay online. To book online, visit the Beavermead Campground page or the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area page on, or after March 2, 2020.
Beavermead Campground offers 97 sites, most with electrical and water hook-ups, and including 4 fully accessible sites that feature barrier-free picnic tables, paved surface pads and close proximity to a fully accessible washroom facility and showers! We can easily accommodate your RV, trailer, or tent and also have a dumping station. Seasonal camping is also available.
Located on Little Lake right in the City of Peterborough, you’ll be within easy reach of local tourist attractions, festivals, great restaurants, and shopping.
Warsaw Caves Conservation Area
The Warsaw Caves Conservation Area and Campground has 52 un-serviced sites in a beautiful wooded setting, just 25 minutes outside of Peterborough. Come spend the weekend or bring your family for an extended stay through the week and take in everything the park has to offer. This campground has an accessible comfort station that includes washrooms, showers, laundry room, and a dish wash station.
Both parks offer group camping for Scouts and Guides, Cadets, school groups, and other social or community organizations. We also make group sites available to other types of large groups.
