Otonabee Conservation is pleased to announce the 2018 Discovery Days series of family-friendly explorations and activities featuring our natural environment.
The Discovery Days series will be held at various conservation areas including the Harold Town Conservation Area, the historic Hope Mill, Beavermead Campground and the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area and Campground. Trail events, wildlife demonstrations, fishing workshops, paddling tours, and yoga in the park are a few of the activities being offered again this year.
The Discovery Days Passport
You are encouraged to have your Discovery Days Passport stamped at the events you attend and enter it into a draw for a chance to win a great prize. The prizes being offered include a 2019 Family Camping Package for the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area and Campground, a Pollinator Habitat package and an Outdoor Recreation package!
The Discovery Days series will begin with the Celebration of Trails event at the Harold Town Conservation Area on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 and wraps up on Sunday, August 26th with Family Day at the historic Hope Mill.
