Bobcaygeon Brewing Co. & McThirsty's Pint

Cheers to $1,750 raised for Jackson Creek Trail

Bobcaygeon Brewing Company and McThirsty’s Pint raised over $1,750 in support of Otonabee Conservation and the Jackson Creek Trail

Bobcaygeon Brewing Company and McThirsty’s Pint's second edition of their ‘Community Brew’ collaboration series raised $1,751.50 in support of Otonabee Conservation and the Jackson Creek Trail.

A cheque presentation with members of Bobcaygeon Brewing Company, McThirsty’s Pint and Otonabee Conservation was held at the Bobcaygeon Brewing Company taproom on January 17th

With each beer in the series, $1 from every pint and 50 cents from every can sold was donated to enhance local support and to give back to the community.

This beer was a Kolsch style, also known as a lagered ale, and was brewed in collaboration with McThirsty’s bartender Dan Longfield. Pouring golden yellow, this Kolsch was a clean and crisp ale with a mild bitterness, perfect for when it was released last spring.

The third installment of the Community Brew series, a West Coast style Pale Ale in support of The New Canadians Centre is now available at Bobcaygeon Brewing Company at 649 The Parkway and McThirsty’s Pint at 166 Charlotte Street, available both on tap and for purchase to go at both locations.
