Otonabee Conservation welcomes you to Beavermead Campground, located within the City of Peterborough, Ontario.

Beavermead Campground offers seasonal and transient campsites for trailer and tent camping.

Otonabee Conservation operates Beavermead Campground through an agreement with the City of Peterborough.

Outdoor Adventure

Welcome to Beavermead Campground, where the great outdoors awaits your next adventure! Whether you have an RV, a travel trailer, or just a trusty tent, we've got the perfect spot for you.

NOTE: Information about the pavilion, soccer fields, beach volleyball courts, playground and beach at Beavermead Park is available from the City of Peterborough.

Camping

Beavermead Campground offers 18 unserviced campsites, and 77 serviced campsites. Serviced campsites include 30-amp or 50-amp hydro services, and water hookup. Every campsite has a fire pit and picnic table. Showers and washrooms located at the comfort station are available for campers to use.

Beavermead Campground also offers 4 accessibility compliant 50-amp campsites. They include accessible picnic tables and fire pits, and paved trailer pads. These campsites are close to the comfort station with accessible showers and washrooms.

A sanitary dumping station is also available for campers to use.

Beavermead Campground offers 9 seasonal campsites.

At the end of each camping season seasonal campers have an opportunity to keep, or give up their assigned seasonal campsite. If a campsite becomes available they are assigned through a lottery system.

NOTE: Beavermead Campground currently has no available seasonal campsites.

Come spend some time on the water in a canoe or kayak. Enjoy flat water, a gentle current, and lots of great scenery and wildlife. Bring your own canoe/kayak or rent one from us. Rentals are available 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday to Thursday and 9:00 am to 6:30 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday of long weekends.

You can explore downtown Peterborough from the water as you paddle along Meade Creek and on into Little Lake.

Pick up a Little Lake Canoe Trip Guide at the gatehouse during the operating season and plan your own paddling adventure.

Enjoy the many facilities at nearby Beavermead Park and the Trans Canada Trail on the southeast shore of Little Lake.

Beavermead Park offers trails, a playground, a beach, a pavilion, outdoor gym, soccer fields, and beach volleyball. At 53 acres, it’s one of the largest City of Peterborough parks.
