Message # 2025-15
Issued: 3:30 pm., Thursday, August 07, 2025

Low Water Conditions: Level 1 Drought - Issued to residents throughout the jurisdiction of Otonabee Conservation.

Otonabee Conservation has declared a Level 1 drought due to a combination of low rainfall and high temperatures during June and July. These dry and hot conditions can affect crop yields, water supplies, and aquatic ecosystems.

What You Can Do?

We’re asking everyone to voluntarily reduce water use, especially:

  •           Lawn watering

  •            Car washing

  • Filling pools

  • Non-essential outdoor water use

💧 Every drop counts! Let’s work together to protect our water resources and support the health of our environment.
