FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | Otonabee Conservation 2026 Tree Sales Now Open

Peterborough, Ontario (January 23, 2026) To promote sustainability and long-term environmental stewardship, Otonabee Conservation has officially opened its annual Tree Sales. This year features a wide variety of species and sizes to better serve homeowners and community projects.

Orders can be easily made online at shop.otonabeeconservation.com until April 5, 2026, at 4 PM.

“Each year, our tree sale helps landowners and residents take meaningful steps toward improving water quality, wildlife habitat, and climate resilience,” said Janette Loveys Smith, Chief Administrative Officer/Secretary-Treasurer at Otonabee Conservation. “By introducing new size options, including potted stock and peat pots in addition to bare root seedlings for select species, we’re making it easier for people to choose trees that best suit their planting goals.”

Landowners can select from a range of over 40 coniferous and deciduous trees and shrubs, including White Pine, Eastern White Cedar, Red Oak, Sugar Maple, Highbush Cranberry, Buttonbush, Serviceberry and Tamarack.

Otonabee Conservation recommends ordering early to ensure the best selection. Our secure online payment system makes checkout fast and convenient.
