Otonabee Conservation launches the 2026 camping season
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | Otonabee Conservation Introduces New Online Campsite Reservation Platform
Peterborough, Ontario (April 14, 2026) – Otonabee Conservation is pleased to announce the launch of the 2026 camping season, with reservations now open through a brand-new online booking platform, CAMIS.
Reservations are available for Otonabee Conservation’s campgrounds, including Warsaw Caves Conservation Area (CA) and Beavermead Campground.
The new reservation system allows campers to view an interactive map of each campground, select their preferred site, and easily book, pay for, and manage their stay in a streamlined, user-friendly experience. As of this season, all campsite reservations must be made online through the CAMIS platform.
Jessie James, Otonabee Conservation’s Manager of Conservation Lands shares, “Camping is a great way to enjoy a staycation close to home, and our new online reservation system makes planning a trip easier than ever. Visitors can quickly find and book the campsite that suits them, and we look forward to welcoming campers to experience everything our campgrounds have to offer this season."
Campers can find the reservation links on Otonabee Conservation’s website and can also find resources to plan their outdoor adventure in the Kawartha’s and learn more about the Conservation Areas within the Otonabee Region Watershed that provide a diverse range of outdoor activities for all ages.
